The strategic line of offshore projects of NEFTEPRODUKT COMPANY, LLP is the development of the continental shelf in the Arctic seas. In terms of the total oil and gas potential, the sedimentary basins of the Arctic shelf are comparable to the largest oil and gas producing regions in the world. According to our estimates, by 2050 the Arctic shelf will cover 20 to 30 percent of all oil production.  

For a number of years, we have consistently implemented a production modernization program, including the reconstruction and modernization of its production unit, which has improved the quality of products and increased its competitiveness 

To strengthen the company’s position and confirm the status of a strategic operator of Arctic offshore projects, in December 2017, NEFTEPRODUKT COMPANY, LLP initiated the signing of the Quadripartite Declaration with key partners (ExxonMobil, Eni, Statoil). The Declaration brings together existing obligations under international agreements, conventions, declarations and integrates the practice of existing companies in the field of environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. The parties plan to create a single effective mechanism to perpetuate their world leadership in ensuring the careful development of the Arctic continental shelf, which would require the allocation of resources from all participating companies.

Innovative approaches to accounting for column top discontinuities are used to minimize prediction errors for structures. At the design stage, finite-difference modeling of the wave field is carried out to select the optimal seismic parameters.
